My father works with nuskin and has worked endlessly to get me and my husband involved. While I am somewhat confident that the products are good and have really enjoyed the ones I have used, I feel that the overall approach is wrong. I had various “high” ups call me to try to sell me on the idea of being a distributor and their only selling point was a guilt trip about how wrong I’d be to not want to be a millionaire and provide more for my family. Never did I hear why the product was amazing and why I should want to be involved because I can share it with others. I also think the start up cost of $1400 is extremely steep.
I would like to see more emphasis on the actual products sold and an easier/more affordable avenue for those interested in being distributors to get involved.

I have been approached by a handful of MLM companies, but to be honest they all made me very nervous! I didn’t understand how the whole system was going to work, if their products were effective, and if I was going to invest money into something that I would never get a return on.
When I heard about NuSkin I was more at ease because I know the company. My brother worked for them while going to college and he had nothing but amazing things to say about them. Yes they ask you to invest more money then most other MLM’s, but they also offer 90% of your money back up to a year later if you decide to back out and the opportunity turns out to be not for you. That was also very comforting because I am pretty sure there is another one out there willing to do that.
Besides the amazing company and how solid they are, their products are amazing. They spend a lot of money on developing some extremely amazing products that are extremely science based. They go through strenuous testing to make sure they have the best results with each and every product. I have used their products for myself and LOVE them!
I personally really like NuSkin and have felt like they give you a great opportunity to do something for yourself and if it doesn’t work you aren’t out all your money. There is very little risk involved so it’s worth a shot! With a company as reputable as NuSkin, with products that are created by over 135 PHD level scientists, and the finances to back up your work and efforts it is a win/win situation. I recently became a distributor and love the business. Yes its hard, but I believe that it will truly be worth it in the end.
